The first shop was originally known as F.W. Evans Cycles and was located on Kennington Road in south east London. Trading from this site for thirty years F.W Evans Cycles built up a strong reputation as a quality cycle shop and in particular building its own frames and bikes. In 1925 the company was presented with a silver plaque by the Cyclists Touring Club (The CTC) for ‘The greatest improvement in cycle design, construction or equipment during the year 1925’. The award was given for design and low cost production of a rear wheel dropout.

  Evans always provide an excellent quick delivery time and prices are competitive. Clearance items are sometimes a complete bargain and the reviews on products left by other purchasers are invaluable. Always chose evans over others clothing.

  I ordered a few items including some Enduro shorts. On receiving the shorts I took the tags off and wore them before realising they were just on the small side. Luckily Evans customer service were ace and allowed me to sent the shorts back in exchange for the next size up, these arrived very quickly even though I had only paid for standard delivery on the original items. Great service!..
