The first shop was originally known as F.W. Evans Cycles and was located on Kennington Road in south east London. Trading from this site for thirty years F.W Evans Cycles built up a strong reputation as a quality cycle shop and in particular building its own frames and bikes. In 1925 the company was presented with a silver plaque by the Cyclists Touring Club (The CTC) for ‘The greatest improvement in cycle design, construction or equipment during the year 1925’. The award was given for design and low cost production of a rear wheel dropout.

  I've been after this particular bike for some time. After looking at just about every webshop I could find, I discovered it on one site at £404.99. The problem was that this and another sites I looked at, had a few not so nice reviews and didn't seem to have as wide a range of parts and accessories as Evans Cycles.Unfortunately, the bike was somewhat pricy at Evans. I used their "PriceMatch" thingy and true to their word, they offered me a promotion code to buy it for £404.99, not to..

  Very impressive service at the birmingham branch. Did not have my item in stock so i was directed online as I did not want to collect instore.excellent telephone service,quick answer so helpful. Couldn't be more pleased. Helped me even though store was just about to close did not rush me searched for the item. Very very polite staff. More than impressed. Would definitely recommend as if you cannot get the item instore its all online and they will send to any store for you to collect. Ten out of ten
