The first shop was originally known as F.W. Evans Cycles and was located on Kennington Road in south east London. Trading from this site for thirty years F.W Evans Cycles built up a strong reputation as a quality cycle shop and in particular building its own frames and bikes. In 1925 the company was presented with a silver plaque by the Cyclists Touring Club (The CTC) for ‘The greatest improvement in cycle design, construction or equipment during the year 1925’. The award was given for design and low cost production of a rear wheel dropout.

  If you need sound advice on buying a good bike at the right price, if you need someone who really cares about bicycles to take care of your beloved mount, if you like a friendly place and nice staff members... Go somewhere else. These people are rude. They can't really spare the time to look after you because they are cooler than you are. They don't mind selling a bike to you, apparently, but do you really deserve it? Are you really worthy of the time it takes for them to take your money? And if..

  Went in a few times to look at several bikes and spoke to several people. All were helpful in helping me pick my bike and telling me the good points and bad of each. Finally decided on a bike, went in and got my finance sorted and they help me pick some accessories and clothing. The bike arrived on the day that they had said along with my GoPro camera and it's riding like a dream.
