The first shop was originally known as F.W. Evans Cycles and was located on Kennington Road in south east London. Trading from this site for thirty years F.W Evans Cycles built up a strong reputation as a quality cycle shop and in particular building its own frames and bikes. In 1925 the company was presented with a silver plaque by the Cyclists Touring Club (The CTC) for ‘The greatest improvement in cycle design, construction or equipment during the year 1925’. The award was given for design and low cost production of a rear wheel dropout.

  Why shop anywhere else? The prices are a fraction of the price of local bike shops, delivery takes 1/4 of the the time of local bike web sites and the product descriptions/reviews are more valuable than the advice that you'll get from a bricks and mortar style bike shop. Oh yeah, plus I can browse and shop whenever I feel like it - unlike local bike shops that are never accessible to anyone who works normal hours

  We were very impressed with the team at the Manchester Velodrome branch. They were all really helpful and welcoming, and really looked after my 4 year old and me when we bought bikes and helmets there the other day. They are now my family's LBS
