The first shop was originally known as F.W. Evans Cycles and was located on Kennington Road in south east London. Trading from this site for thirty years F.W Evans Cycles built up a strong reputation as a quality cycle shop and in particular building its own frames and bikes. In 1925 the company was presented with a silver plaque by the Cyclists Touring Club (The CTC) for ‘The greatest improvement in cycle design, construction or equipment during the year 1925’. The award was given for design and low cost production of a rear wheel dropout.

  Found the Livestrong bib and shirt by Nike on line at Evans. Great price, both items in stock and free International shipping was included. I live in California and was impressed that the website automatically converted the currency to $US. Package arrived in the time quoted. Everything was great, true to size and great quality. If I was being hypercritical (which I'm not) the packaging could have been better. Everything was crushed into one envelope (which clearly US customs had looked inside)...

  Ordered and paid for Cervelo R3 SL frame about two months age. Item was listed as in stock with 14 day delivery. Waited for 3 weeks and then emailed customer services to enquire about delivery. Received automated email stating a full reply would be sent with 48 hours, it wasn't!. I phoned customer services a week later asking when my frame would be delivered. Sales guy said the frame was out of stock and had been discontinued. By this time Evans had my £1750 for a month. Worst thing of all was..
