The first shop was originally known as F.W. Evans Cycles and was located on Kennington Road in south east London. Trading from this site for thirty years F.W Evans Cycles built up a strong reputation as a quality cycle shop and in particular building its own frames and bikes. In 1925 the company was presented with a silver plaque by the Cyclists Touring Club (The CTC) for ‘The greatest improvement in cycle design, construction or equipment during the year 1925’. The award was given for design and low cost production of a rear wheel dropout.

  I have been ordering every 4 months and delivering half way across the globe to Pakistan. Delivery never went beyond 4days and was always exactly as intended.
  Price match is fantastic!
  Free international delivery for orders above £50 is unbeatable!
  
  I will admit though recent change on large item international delivery has left me a bit discontent. I had some large orders planned including track pumps etc which i ordered in past for friends and i can't order now for myself.
  
  Would i recommend to friends? YES I will, to everyone!

  Please can the staff at the Cycle Point at Leeds railway station be given some training as to why they need to ask customers for their address when making a purchase.
  
  I don't mind giving the start of my postcode, which I understand helps with marketing etc. but the attitude of staff at the Cycle Point left a lot to be desired.
  
  When I objected to giving my full address and suggested I may shop elsewhere the staff member, rather than explaining why he needed my address, said fine and returned the tyres to the shelf. I was forced to endure this as I wouldn't have got home without the new tyres but I won't be back.
